Consistent with the previous statement regarding the search to the Minister of Jurisdiction (s), Ms Virginia Rivera, is conducting in the area of \u200b\u200bMelipilla, in order to find traces of the Disappeared kidnapped on October 16, 1973 at Paine by members of the Army of Chile dependent Infantry School San Bernardo by the-then Lieutenant - Andres Magaña Bau, inform:

According to information provided by the Minister of Jurisdiction (S), Ms Virginia Rivera Alvarez, in charge of the research to date, January 15, 2007, no skeletal remains have been found in the excavated area, while tracking the site continues to set other search points remains.

As Association reiterate call for calm to the families of the Disappeared in Chile and Paine. We also recommend to the community with caution any information regarding the case.

Around 16 hours on Monday, got a call from the Minister, who called the policy and coordinating aa the Association to approach the location field to show the process that is taking place. The Association noted that the excavations have been made with the utmost caution, checking each piece of land extensively excavated. We note two excavations in which experts are working on a perimeter of 80cm x 1m in areas near a stream site.

The AFDD Paine is also requesting an interview with Army General Oscar Izurieta, for the institution under his command, give details regarding the information provided in the report of the Bureau Dialogue in 2000, where notes that the remains of our family for this case would have been thrown overboard, and with respect to Operation "Removing TVs," held in December 1978 that aimed at the removal of bodies buried by the military to launch later the sea.

In the diffusion incorrect information and public confusion regarding the whereabouts of the remains of 22 of our family:

The Association of Relatives of Disappeared Detainees and executed Paine informed the community that on Tuesday, January 9, 2007, the board of the Association was quoted by Presidential Delegate for human rights cases, María Luisa Sepúlveda, who informed us that a witness testified know the place where 22 people have been killed Paine arrested on October 16, 1973 by military School San Bernardo Infantry by Lt. Andrew Magaña Bau, and would have been buried in the area Melipilla.

Minister of Jurisdiction (s), Ms Virginia Rivera Alvarez-charge of the research was set up this Thursday at the site in search of bones and debris. We are currently working with her who has kept us informed with any developments in the case.

Group As we call for calm to the families of the Disappeared in Chile and Paine. We also hope to keep you informed about new information as soon as possible.

We should clarify that the date (Friday, January 12, 2007), have not found any remains of missing detainees for the case as had been reported by some media.
